The type of scan you need is determined by your referring physician based on your symptoms and medical history. Your doctor will discuss the reasons for the specific exam and provide you with a formal referral.
Yes. We invest continuously in technology to ensure we provide the highest diagnostic accuracy. This includes low-dose CT scanners, high-field MRI machines, and 3D Mammography units across our network.

Preparation varies by exam. For instance, you may need to fast for an abdominal CT or avoid wearing lotions for an MRI. Our scheduling team will provide you with detailed, easy-to-follow preparation instructions when you book your appointment.
We accept most major insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. We strongly recommend you contact your insurance provider before your appointment to verify your coverage for specific imaging services. Our billing department is also available to assist with questions at 843-628-3856

Our Mobile Imaging Services: Bringing Care to You
Our mobile imaging units are state-of-the-art clinics on wheels. They are designed to bring essential services directly to your community. We currently provide Mobile MRI and Mobile Mammography services.
Convenience and Access. Our mobile units eliminate long travel times, making it easier for you to get life-saving screenings and essential diagnostics close to home. This is especiallyy valuable for patients in underserved areas or with transportation challenges.
Absolutely. This is our highest priority. Our mobile units are equipped with the same advanced technology (like 3D Mammography and wide-bore MRI). The same team of expert radiologists reads all studies, ensuring you receive the exact same standard of care.
The process is identical to scheduling at our main facility! You can call our central scheduling number or book online. Just specify that you’d like to book at one of our mobile locations, and our team will guide you.
Our mobile MRI units feature a short, wide-bore design, which is more open and less confining than older, traditional machines. Many patients with anxiety find this much more comfortable. We also provide ambient lighting and music to help you relax.
Yes. All our mobile units are equipped with ramps or lifts to accommodate patients with mobility aids like wheelchairs and walkers. Please inform our schedulers of any specific needs so we can ensure a smooth visit.
